Bright Suncare is a concept brand I created as a way to practice my packaging skills in the tween and teen skincare industry. Conceptually, I wanted to focus on big, bold colors so these would stand out on a shelf in a brick and mortar store.
While I was working on the look and feel, I kept in mind that I wanted to appeal to an audience young tween and teen girls. I wanted to capture a sense of youth and relatability, while also tackling a subject I'm personally passionate about.
When designing the product line, I wanted to consider that my audience was new to beauty and skincare products, so each product should be clear in its purpose, color coded by line/function, and simplified to three products in each set. This creates a beginner-friendly introduction to suncare that is approachable for girls as young as 9 or 10.
