I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to combine my love for design and illustration with my love for theater when TAF and I collaborated to create stunning, meaningful art posters for their upcoming season of shows.

I pitched three different artistic concepts to the theater board, while also explaining to them the value they would receive for choosing to hire an artist for the first time.
The concept we chose as a carrying theme for these pieces was Concept A: inspired by Lightbox crafts, in which pieces of paper are cut and layered to create a deep, interesting scene when a light is shone through the back. I felt this was a good motif to represent the creation of a theater production, which is done layer by layer, to build a beautiful, rich world in which the viewer can get lost.

These illustrations were used across several mediums, both print and digital, to announce the TAF 2027 theater season and prepare to promote the shows throughout the year.
